United? Kingdom
In the 2010 UK General Election, each country had a different majority vote. With such contrasting views and a coalition government in power, the United Kingdom is in political turmoil. This poster highlights this sentiment and asks us to consider the strapline, “United? Kingdom” as we stand divided in our current political stance.

Check out this fun, creative, and well-designed book about the Geometry of Pasta. The jacket unfolds into a cool infographic that is drawn to scale for handy reference. But that’s not the only cool thing. Check out the website for the book, that showcases different pasta shapes, and offers a few free recipes.Oh, and then there’s this really cute animated recipe they created.
The book was featured in Imprint, and here’s what they had to say about it:
The book is the brainchild of Caz Hildebrand, a partner in Here Design, a London firm that creates chic brand identities, packaging, environments and products…
[The inspiration for the book came from] lots of things, from the Italian Futurism of Marinetti to Op Art to Marimekko fabrics. The pasta shapes were rendered by illustrator Lisa Vandy, who does architectural renderings in CAD. They are all true to size: the length, diameter, and thickness of the pasta shape.

Umbrella Squirt Gun by Alex Woolley
Channel one of the primordial processes of nature into a weapon! This concept umbrella funnels rain through the top down into a water pistol in the handle as part of a campaign to encourage adults to play more. Act immature and goof around… twist my arm, why dont you, guys.
